The Goals and Objectives:

Goals:

To improve the quality of training for students and professionals.
To improve the quality of life of the African American communities we serve.
To facilitate healthier lifestyle by promoting and coordinating mental and physical healing.

Objectives: consistent with the philosophy of The Association of Black Psychologists these objectives will assist in carrying out our mission

To seek funding in order to create and provide clinical training opportunities for students, interns and professionals.
To establish psychosocial programs within the African American, Latino and other underserved communities.
To establish a multicultural parenting program (with linkages and contracts to the Department of Children and Family Services, DCFS).
Develop a chapter directory.
Develop and coordinate services for our young boys and young men who are fathers.
